Shuttle bus service

The Club provides a total of 18 complimentary shuttle buses on every home matchday to assist disabled supporters and fans with accessibility requirements in travelling to and from the Stadium.

Buses operate continuously from two hours prior to kick-off, with the 18 shuttle buses running for up to a maximum of 90 minutes after the full-time whistle. Please note, road closures are in place post-match to provide safe routes for home and away supporters leaving the stadium which means the buses can be held back for a brief period after the Game until it is deemed safe the journeys to recommence.

The Accessible Shuttle Bus Service is available by request to any disabled supporters, senior citizens, fans with mobility difficulties or temporary injuries and pregnant mothers. However, such is the demand for the service that we can only provide a permit to the Supporter who requests assistance, and ONE personal assistant, if required. Disabled supporters can request a permit by email to accessibility@westhamunited.co.uk and if registered with the Club, a Personal Assistant permit can be issued to accompany them.

Supporters can request one of the following routes and will be issued a permit for their journey. The routes to select from are from the following:

  • Platform 13 (Jubilee Line) Stratford Station

  • Stratford International Station

Stratford Station

Shuttle buses can be caught from the car park beside platform 13 at Stratford Station, which is located on the far right of the Jubilee Line platforms on the lower level concourse.

Stratford International

Shuttle buses run from the 108 bus stop on International Way opposite the entrance to the station.

This service now runs with two shuttle buses having been increased this season -

Stadium Drop off

The Shuttle buses drop all passengers off at the Stadium Store, on the lower ground floor outside the Cafe doors. All those disembarking will undergo a search by Stadium Security Staff, just as they would if accessing the Ground via the pedestrian bridges. At present, due to Health & Safety reasons there are no opportunities to add additional drop off points around the Stadium. The Club recognise this can mean an extended walk for some and an additional turnstile can be added to the Access Card or digital ticket for any accessibility supporter by contacting accessibility@westhamunited.co.uk

Post-match

For home Supporters, following the final whistle, as soon as it is safe to do so, the buses will continue to take Supporters back to Stratford Station and Stratford International Station from the pick-up point at Car Park 2, alongside the Stadium Store and West Ham Café. There will be SLOs and DSAs on hand to assist with any Supporters boarding or alighting the shuttle buses.

Please note: The Club have no say in the timings the buses leave the Stadium after a game. The go ahead comes directly from the Police and the Stadium security department and is governed by how quickly the pedestrian crowds thin down using the roads to leave the area. This is  constantly under review and the DSB keep the subject on the agenda with the Club.
